Once you start making homemade pesto, you can never go back. It’s easy and tastes absolutely delicious. The flavor of fresh basil really can’t be beat. My family uses it for pasta, pizza, eggs, and many more!

Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Basil (2 3.0 oz boxes)
  • Walnuts or pine nuts (~1/2 cup)
  • Extra virgin olive oil (1/4 cup) or to desired consistency
  • Parmesan (~1/4 cup)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

Add all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well combined.
